Dance Spot of DuPage offers a wide variety of dance classes welcoming dancers at any level. Choose from private or semi-private classes, group lessons, workshops, and wedding dance choreography.
Private lessons are personalized to meet anyone’s needs, skills, and interests. For the beginner, this is the fastest way to learn, gain confidence, and fall in love with dancing. For those who have danced before, private lessons provide the opportunity to improve technique, posture, style, and add new dances to your repertoire! Private lessons can be designed for either a single person or a couple.
If you and a group of friends would like to take dance lessons together, semi-private lessons might be perfect for you. Semi-privates are not open to the public; they will only be for you and your friends to learn the dance or dances of your choice. These lessons are designed for up to 6 people.
Group lessons are an excellent way to start learning or to advance your skills in ballroom, social, or Latin dancing. They can also provide an opportunity for you to practice what you are learning in your private lessons. We offer classes for beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels. No partner is needed to participate in a group class.
Adult Ballet (Generally, two Mondays per month)
This class is perfect for ballroom dancers who wish to improve their posture and core, and
build the necessary body awareness and muscles for dancing.

Ballroom Dancing is a type of dancing in which two people dance together in a series of movements that are part of a particular dance. There are several different dances within these two categories, all of which are available for lessons in our studio.
Social or Club Dances are those you would do in a club or bar setting. If you can’t stop moving when you hear a Latin beat or fast song, but you’d like to improve your free style dancing, give one of our Social/Club Dances a try.
